Krause Health and Safety’s mission to keep you safe. The safety of our employees, suppliers, customers, families and visitors remains Krause Health and Safety’s overriding priority. As the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak continues to evolve and spread globally, Krause Health and Safety are monitoring the situation very closely and will periodically update our company guidelines based on current recommendations from the centres for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organisation. Only business critical visitors are permitted at this time.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure to our trainers and visitors, we have implemented measures to ensure that while conducting or participating in training within our organisation, the chance of contamination is reduced as much as possible and that all attendees feel that while attending our facility that their health is our main concern.

What steps are in place?

Currently all our training facilities are fitted with the following:

All the class rooms have been re-designed to allow social distancing and signs implemented to indicated which areas are prohibited for seating.

All bathrooms are fitted with correct hand-washing technique signs supplied by the World Health organisation.

All employees have undergone prevention control Covid-19 courses.

All students are encouraged to bring their own food to prevent cross contamination (provisions such as biscuits and lollies have been removed from classrooms)

Cash sales have been prohibited and only EFTPOS will be available.

All touchable surface areas including tables, chairs, door handles, manikins etc are cleaned before and after all training.

What can you do to help?

If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you call our office at the earliest convenience and let our staff know you will not be attending training.

All cancellations prior to the day of training will not incur a cancellation fee as mentioned in our booking confirmations, however should we receive no correspondence prior to the commencement of training you will be invoiced for this course.

We ask that while undergoing any training within our company you comply with the following requirements:

Prevention is everyone’s responsibility, if unwell- stay home

Booking your appointment

When calling or emailing to schedule training, our administrative staff will ask “do you feel unwell, or have you any flu like symptoms or have you or someone you know recently engaged in any air or sea travel in the last month?” if you answer ‘yes’ to any of these questions you will be advised to re-schedule your training for a later date when you have been cleared for work.

If a student with flu like symptoms (sore throat, coughing, shortness of breath, fever) attends any of our training facilities, they will be asked to leave immediately and re-book at a later date once they have been cleared for work.

We ask that you don’t become agitated with our staff at this time, as we are all trying to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone around us.

The future of Krause Health and Safety

With a pandemic of this magnitude, Krause Health and Safety is ensuring that while the government has not yet restricted training, that we can still provide the best service in a clean and safe environment.

There are many uncertainties of how far this pandemic will spread and what further actions the Government may take, but until the time comes where Krause Health and Safety is no longer considered an essential service, we will still aim to meet your training requirements within the restrictions as set out by ASQA, centres for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organisation.

We thank you for your support, trust and understanding at this time.

Kind regards,

Wade Krause
CEO
