Course Overview

RIIWHS204E – Work safely at heights

This course covers the management of working at heights, it will provide participants with the ability to work safely at heights including identifying height work requirements, work procedures and instructions for the task, accessing and installing equipment, performing work at heights and cleaning the work area. This course is inclusive of a practical component of being suspended in a harness.

Blended/E-Learning

(Online Learning and Theory Assessment + Face-to-face Practical Assessment)

Participants completing this course via the Blended/E-Learning delivery method must complete all learning and theory assessments online through the aXcelerate Learner Management System (LMS) and then contact the Krause Health and Safety Mount Isa administration team to organise the corresponding practical assessment session to complete their practical assessment.

Face-to-face

Participants completing this course via the Face-to-face delivery method will be required to complete all learning, theory assessment and practical assessment on-site at the allocated Krause Health and Safety facility/venue.

The Working at Heights course aims to cover the knowledge and skills of working at heights. This course provides participants with the ability to work safely at heights including identifying height work requirements, work procedures and instructions for the task, accessing and installing equipment, performing work at heights and cleaning the work area. This course is inclusive of a practical component of being suspended in a harness.

There is no prerequisite training for this course.

All required learning materials are included in the course fees (refer to our Course Fees). All you need to bring are closed-in shoes and a readiness to learn.

This course is designed for people such as scaffolders, riggers and operators of elevating work platforms, as well as any other workers that are exposed to the dangers of working at heights on a regular basis.
