PUAFER008 – Confine small emergencies in a facility
This course covers the skills and knowledge for preparing for emergency situations, identifying and assessing an emergency, safely confining emergencies, using initial response equipment and reporting on the facility's emergency response.
If you are an occupant of a facility who is required to have first attack firefighting skills for small emergencies, such as small fires that can be controlled using a fire extinguisher; chemical spills that can be controlled using facility personal protective clothing and equipment and a spill kit; or a vehicle accident where there is no significant injury or damage, then this course is a must for you
RIIERR205D – Apply initial response First Aid
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
This course has been designed to give the student basic first aid skills and information in what to do initially in the case that someone is injured or sick. It includes: assessing the situation; applying First Aid; Basic CPR and recording and reporting the situation, this course is a pre-requisite for LVR training.
UETDRMP007 Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage
This course is for electricians and workers who act as an observer where electrical work is undertaken. This course includes: equipment identification, risk control, legislative requirements and rescue procedures for if a person comes into contact with LV live electrical conductors, panels and equipment.
To enrol in UETDRMP007 Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel, personnel must now hold the following prerequisite units and evidence must be provided to enrol:
