PUAFER008 - Confine small emergencies in a facility
This entry-level course includes planning and preparing for fighting or containing fires and finalising operations. It will provide you with sufficient skills and knowledge to prevent or fight a fire with the intention of stopping it from spreading.RIIERR205D – Apply initial response First Aid
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
This course has been designed to give the student basic first aid skills and information in what to do initially in the case that someone is injured or sick. It includes: assessing the situation; applying First Aid; Basic CPR and recording and reporting the situation, this course is a pre-requisite for LVR training.
HLTWHS005 – Conduct manual tasks safely
This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge & skills to effectively identify and control risks arising from manual handling tasks and to encourage awareness of manual handling and back care.
