Established in 1996 by the late William Krause (Big Bill), Krause Health and Safety provides professional Health, Safety and Training consultancy services to Mount Isa and the greater North West. As of January 2021, Krause Health and Safety also services the Greater Brisbane region of South East Queensland.
Krause Health and Safety’s experienced team consists of an extensive background in mining, First Aid, Construction and Work Health and Safety.
Over the years Krause Health and Safety has adapted to the demands of the industry requirements and diversified into online training. This has made training more accessible with eLearning courses being launched, allowing learning from the comfort of your own surroundings.
In 2020 Krause Health and Safety added a purpose designed and built portable Working at Heights and Confined Space training platform to their fleet. This is an innovative way to deliver training to more workplaces and locations throughout the North West and beyond.

Training
Krause Health & Safety provides a variety of high quality, nationally accredited training, specifically catered to provided services to a multitude of industries including but not limited to: Mining, Construction, Health care, child care and agricultural areas. Training is available face to face in our classrooms, via travel for larger rural courses or through our user friendly e-Learning portal.
WHS Auditing
Krause Health & Safety can audit company Safety Management Systems, ensuring that all policies and procedures meet the legislative requirements and industry specific requirements.
Workplace Inspections
Krause Health & Safety is trained and qualified to carryout workplace inspections of a variety of site’s, including mines, construction, commercial building, residential building and health. A detailed report of key safety concerns is listed and met as per legislation upon completion of inspections.
Onsite safety Coverage
Krause Health & Safety has several qualified professionals in workplace health and safety, covering a wide array of industries, including, Mining, Construction and agricultural areas.
Safety Management plans & System development
Krause Health & Safety are able to review, develop and maintain company safety management plans and systems contextualised to meet industry and legislative requirements. This includes policies, Procedures, forms, risk management tools and the ability to ensure that you can meet the specific requirements captured under the client’s safety management system.
Preparing and Conducting training or Inductions
Krause Health & Safety are able to develop, and present training and materials for training specific to site, this may include: site inductions, tool box talks and other general safety presentations.
Risk Assessment/ Hazard Analysis
Krause Health & Safety have a very experienced and qualified staff base that can assist and or facilitate the risk assessment process, adept in providing assistance with JSEA’s, TARA’s and formal risk assessment process.
Accident Investigation
Krause Health & Safety can provide assistance to clients with regards to assisting with Accident/Incident investigations, from minor incidents to the more severe incidents that are reportable to the regulator. Main training is in Tap root and ICAM investigation methodologies
