Course Overview

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

This course gives participants the ability to administer first aid care in emergency situations, as well as treat injuries and other illnesses, it has value for anyone within the workplace, community group, sporting group or home environments who may be required to provide first aid response in a range of situations. 

Provide First Aid certificates are valid for 3 years.

The CPR component must be refreshed every 12 months.

Blended/E-Learning

(Online Learning and Theory Assessment + Face-to-face Practical Assessment)

Participants completing this course via the Blended/E-Learning delivery method must complete all learning and theory assessments online through the aXcelerate Learner Management System (LMS) and then contact the Krause Health and Safety Mount Isa administration team to organise the corresponding practical assessment session to complete their practical assessment.

Face-to-face

Participants completing this course via the Face-to-face delivery method will be required to complete all learning, theory assessment and practical assessment on-site at the allocated Krause Health and Safety facility/venue.

There is no prerequisite training for this course.

All required learning materials are included in the course fees (refer to our Course Fees). All you need to bring are closed-in shoes and a readiness to learn.
