Course Overview

Krause Group offer recognised First Aid training certificates that give individuals the skills needed to assist in an emergency situation.

What does a First Aid Course cover?

  • Signs that CPR may be required.
  • First Aider safety.
  • CPR process, theory and practical
  • Burns
  • Wounds
  • Fractures
  • Head injuries
  • Bites or stings
  • Uncontrolled bleeding
  • Sprains or strains
  • Allergic reactions
  • Hypothermia
  • Hypoglycaemia

 

Units of competency

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid (Release Status: Current)
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Release Status: Current)

This 2 day course gives participants the ability to administer first aid care in emergency situations, as well as treat injuries and other illnesses, it has value for anyone within the workplace, community group, sporting group or home environments who may be required to provide first aid response in a range of situations.  Qualification is valid for 3 years; however CPR component must be refreshed every 12 months.

 

 

Our E-Learning option requires you to complete an online theory component and attendance in person at 3 commercial Rd for a practical assessment session to be deemed competent, please call or email our office to book your practical session time.
