This course has been designed to give the student basic first aid skills and information in what to do initially in the case that someone is injured or sick. It includes: assessing the situation; applying First Aid; Basic CPR and recording and reporting the situation.
Fire Team Operations
RIIERR201E – Conduct fire team operations (Release Status -Current)
This entry-level course covers the conducting of fire team operations. It includes planning and preparing for fighting or containing fires and finalising operations. It will provide you with sufficient skills and knowledge to prevent or fight a fire with the intention of stopping it from spreading.

Blended/E-Learning
(Online Learning and Theory Assessment + Face-to-face Practical Assessment)
Participants completing this course via the Blended/E-Learning delivery method must complete all learning and theory assessments online through the aXcelerate Learner Management System (LMS) and then contact the Krause Health and Safety Mount Isa administration team to organise the corresponding practical assessment session to complete their practical assessment.

Participants completing this course via the Face-to-face delivery method will be required to complete all learning, theory assessment and practical assessment on-site at the allocated Krause Health and Safety facility/venue.

This course covers the conducting of fire team operations, including the planning and preparing for fighting or containing fires and finalising operations. It aims to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to prevent or fight a fire with the intention of stopping it from spreading.
Using our immersive learning Virtual Reality tool, Krause Health and Safety aims to place participants into a variety of scenarios unique to their workplace and give them the opportunity to learn hands-on in a completely virtual environment, increasing the interactivity and engagement, while also minimising risk.
There is no prerequisite training for this course.
All required learning materials are included in the course fees (refer to our Course Fees). All you need to bring are closed-in shoes and a readiness to learn.
This course is designed for everybody and anybody and teaches them how to properly react in a fire emergency situation. With our immersive fire safety tool, training is more inclusive and interactive than ever allowing all who undertake this training the opportunity to get hands-on experience fighting and controlling a fire in a realistically simulated setting.
